- 2.25 cupsall purpose flour(sifted)
- 0.5 cupunsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tspbaking soda
- 1 tspsalt
- 1.75 cupssugar
- 0.5 cupunsalted butter(room temperature)
- 0.5 cupvegetable oil
- 2 largeeggs
- 1 tspvanilla extract
- 0.5 cupbuttermilk
- 2 cupszucchini(grated unpeeled)
- 1 cupsemisweet chocolate chips
- 0.75 cupwalnuts(chopped)

Preparation
- 1Preheat oven to 325°F. Butter and flour 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
- 2Sift flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt into medium bowl.
- 3Beat sugar, butter and oil in large bowl until well blended.
- 4Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
- 5Beat in vanilla extract.
- 6Mix in dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk in 3 additions each.
- 7Mix in grated zucchini.
- 8Pour batter into prepared pan.
- 9Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over.
- 10Bake cake until tester inserted into center comes out clean, about 50 minutes.
- 11Cool cake completely in pan.
