- 500 gblack cod(cut into fillets)
- 2 tbspbutter(softened)
- 2 tbspwhite miso paste
- 1 tbspmirin
- 1 tbspbrown sugar
- salt(to taste)
- 300 gbroccolini
- 1 tbspolive oil
- pepper(to taste)
- 1 tbspchili oil
- sesame seeds(for garnish)
- 1 cuprice(washed)
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking pan with aluminum foil. Pat the cod fillets dry with a paper towel and season with salt.
- 2Mix butter, white miso paste, mirin, and brown sugar until smooth. Spread the miso butter generously over the cod fillets.
- 3Bake for 10 minutes then broil on high for 3–4 minutes, or until the top is caramelized.
- 4For the broccolini, toss it with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast at 400°F for 8–9 minutes. Drizzle with chili oil and garnish with sesame seeds.
- 5Cook 1 cup washed rice in 1½ cups water.
