- Pickle juice
- 2 lbchicken
- 0.75 cupsalted butter
- 6 clovesgarlic minced
- 2 tbspGochugaru pepper flakes powder
- 3 tspchili flakes
- 1 tspsesame oil
- salt/pepper/MSG
- 3 tbsphoney
- 1-2 cups flour
- 4eggs beaten
- 2 cupspanko
Instructions
- 1Cut chicken into tenders & soak in pickle juice for 30-60min
- 2Melt butter in small sauce pot & add garlic while melting
- 3Add Gochugaru, chili flakes, sesame oil, salt/pepper, & honey
- 4Heat through, then set aside
- 5Prep dredging & heat oil, then pat chicken dry
- 6Dredge in flour, then egg, then panko, patting the panko on
- 7Fry as you coat to speed things up
- 8Leave/chicken to drip oil on wire rack
- 9Toss all chicken in a bowl with the sauce
- 10Serve as a chicken sandwich, or over a salad
