  • 1 cupfirmly packed brown sugar
  • 0.5 cupwhite sugar
  • 2eggs
  • 1 tspvanilla
  • 1.5 cupsflour
  • 1 tspbaking soda
  • 0.5 tspsalt
  • 3 cupsquick oats
  • 1.5 cupssmarties(or chocolate chips or M&Ms)

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. 2Beat together butter with sugars
  3. 3Add eggs and vanilla and beat well
  4. 4Add combined flour, soda and salt
  5. 5Mix well
  6. 6Stir in oats and smarties
  7. 7Mix well
  8. 8Drop by rounded tsp on ungreased cookie sheet
  9. 9Bake 10-12 minutes or til golden brown
