- 24 ozSalmon
- 0.5 tspKosher Salt
- 0.5 tspBlack Pepper
- 0.5 tspSmoked Paprika
- 0.25 tspBlackening Seasoning
- 3 TbspSalted Butter
- 2 tspOlive Oil
- 6 clovesGarlic minced
- 3 TbspHoney
- 3 TbspWater
- 3 TbspSoy Sauce
- 1 TbspSriracha Sauce
- 2 TbspLemon Juice
Instructions
- 1Start cooking rice.
- 2Pat salmon dry, then season with salt, pepper, paprika and blackening seasoning (if using). Set aside.
- 3Prep remaining ingredients.
- 4Adjust oven rack to middle position, then preheat broiler.
- 5Add butter and oil to a large, oven-safe skillet over MED-HIGH heat.
- 6Once butter is melted, add garlic, water, soy sauce, sriracha, honey and lemon juice and cook 30 seconds or so, until sauce is heated through.
- 7Add salmon, skin side down, and cook for 3 minutes.
- 8While salmon cooks, baste frequently with sauce from the pan by spooning it over the top of the salmon.
- 9Broil salmon for 5-6 minutes, basting with sauce once during the broil, until salmon is caramelized and cooked to desired doneness.
- 10Remove salmon from the pan to prevent overcooking.
- 11Serve with rice and drizzle remaining sauce over the top.
